Indigenous plant use guide
Produced by the Clean Air and Urban Landscapes Hub at the University of Melbourne, the new ‘Indigenous Plant Use' booklet by Barkandji woman Zena Cumpston, explores the cultural, nutritional, technological and medicinal use of indigenous plants.
You’ll find information on more than 50 indigenous plant species displayed on labels that you can print and use in your own garden. These labels provide an opportunity for people to learn on Country and connect with Aboriginal knowledge of plant use.
While this guide details use of many species that VINC grows, please note that it also includes many species we don't grow.
